Training Programme

Music Business
These workshops focus on the business of music including the challenges faced by any creative, technical, production, business and / or administrative person working in the music industry today and beyond. The workshops will also provide some focus as to where future opportunities can be found, and insight into the practicalities of making money in the music industries.
These workshops are open to the public. Registration is recommended, although not necessary.
Venue: Iziko Museum (Red Room), Queen Victoria Street, Gardens
Dates: Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 March
11h00 – 12h30: Session 1
13h30 – 15h00: Session 2
15h30 – 17h00: Session 3

Master Classes
The master classes will target professional and established musicians and focus on more specialised instrumentation. The skills derived from these classes, as well as the unique networking opportunities amongst musicians, will contribute to the strengthening of a musician’s career.
These workshops will prefer an audience of professional or established musicians. Other industry practitioners and jazz lovers are also welcome to attend.

Dates: Friday 30 and Saturday 31 March
Times: 10h00 – 14h00
