Audience Development @ Aliance Francaise - Sat 28 July 07

Invest in the Youth

Theme: Audience Development

Summary:
It's a shame that SABC's music content policy is 75% international music and 25% South African music, we as youth and local music lovers plan to change the status quo. The goals and mission of this event is about developing audiences and appreciation for local music, many music promoters, night-clubs as well as the television networks mainly cater for international sounds, most times ignoring many talented artists and product coming South Africa. This event creates that necessary and professional platform for artists to perform, mobilize and express themselves.

Our Goals:
Promote job creation
Develop Audiences for our sound
Economic growth for the arts and culture sector
