History:
Invest in the Youth Concert has been around on the Cape Town Hip Hop Calendar of Events, since it's beginnings on the Grand Parade during Cape Town Festival 2000, to last year's 2x arena/sound stages event at Portland Indoor Centre.
This event creates that necessary and professional platform for artists to perform, mobilize and express themselves.

Create Economic growth for the arts and culture sector

This month’s topic is about the SA Justice system and how it affects us the youth and community at large, especially after popular rapper Mr Devious, who was murdered during 2004, suspect was acquitted during May this year.
Janine van Rooy, sister to Mario “Devious” Van Rooy, will facilitate the workshop. There will be a guest panel of legal people, hip hop activists and community leaders.
