BBOY and New Skool Dance Competition

Purpose:
To create a new platform for Hip Hop Dance in SA.
To merge the underground competitive voice and the Nu Skool aboveground competitive system into a united dance force – without prejudice – by acknowledging the athleticism and skill required to perform and compete at World Class level.
To merge New Skool and B-Boy into an Allstyle Fusion – allowing dance to be the visual word.
To identify and acknowledge some of the top B-Boys and provide them with the opportunity to defend SA’s title at the World Cup (to be held in Paris, France in June/July 2007).

History:
The Break Boy World Cup has been running for eight years and sees groups (of 6 members) battle each other – two at a time – in a seven minute set. The Break Boy World Cup is a humanitarian event and all proceeds are donated to charity.
